The bite from the beach has been insane! Yesterday it started with Warren coming in to tell Kay that it’s the best day he’s ever had. Warren fished the mouth of the Merrimac River early………….very early low tide where he used lures and caught tons of small fish with a few 26-27″ fish mixed in. Then he continued his fishing down on the refuge using worms at lot 1.
Steve LeBlanc from Groveland came in yesterday also with this 9 1/2 pounder he caught on mackerel in the Plum Island River. Steve has been successful on worms, clams, and now mackerel.
