We want to let everyone know the sad news of the passing of Mark Rennie. Mark was a favorite customer of ours and loved to fish Plum Island. Fishing frequently with his daughter, Ashely and son, Mike, family competition was strong and fierce. It made for great fish stories and photos. That, we will miss….Mike and Ashley, wishing you peace.

***Mark’s son Mike wrote this beautiful eulogy that we would like to share with you. A very touching reminder……..
Dad’s eulogy..
“For years the river mouth was where your soul felt most at peace,
Your heart was most content chasing stripers to the east, but then your spirit came to rest where angels chose to roam, and once equipped with a surf rod you made yourself at home.
May the sky become your ocean. The clouds your shore, and there for all eternity meet with friends galore. Each angel a fisherman who traded in their wings for a pole and a chance to join in at your secret fishing hole.
Forever missing the tales you told,
Each catch , it’s stature and girth,
will live on memories unmatched as our days pass here on Earth.
Until we meet again on God’s golden sand we’ll always picture you no other way than with surf caster in hand.”
