ALONG THE OCEANFRONT

Tom Sheehy sent us this group of photos that he took at 8am this morning somewhere around the Salisbury beachfront.

Thanks for sharing Tom, this is spectacular!

We should all be so lucky to see this………someday soon!

Yesterday not long before closing we had Randy Bowen from Worcester weigh in this 16-4 pounder that he caught along the oceanfront on a chunk of mackerel. Randy caught this “keeper” right about high tide and before that he also caught 8 other fish during the afternoon on the incoming tide that were 27″ and under.

Plum Island was a busy place yesterday for sure! The beach was packed with people, the ocean was packed with boats, paddle boarders, surfers, and jet skis…..one that we heard was a bit too close to the general public.  We had a few customers mention this to us and we decided to say something. Please observe the law about staying 150 feet from shore and swimmers! This rule also applies to boaters. It’s a big ocean out there, so give the beach goers a little extra space on the last of these hot summer days. Thank you!
