Thought we would share a little freshwater story with you. Hal, a fisherman from New York visited the shop and had a look around for the first time. He was heading back to New York to fish in a tournament. He sent me this:
Hi Liz….the day was a good one because we were on the water. The fishing not so good. Before we caught that salmon we trolled for 5 hours and only caught 7 lake trout……all were under 8 lbs so they went back to grow up. We caught the biggest landlocked salmon I’ve ever caught on Cayuga lake. 28″ 9lbs”. Cayuga lake is one of the finger lakes in New York.
