Not sure how many of you know this but our dad, Ray was a veteran. And a lot of our customers are veterans. In honor of him, our customers, and to all those that serve (past, present, and future) ………………….Thank You!

What better way to spend a holiday weekend than to find a quiet space on the beach and fish the day away. Quiet? This island has been crazy this weekend. But overall the fishing has been fantastic! This past week a lot of action was in the mouth of the river because of low tide being in the am, now as they say the tide has turned! We are seeing a lot more action on the oceanfront and finally Joppa. Lots of reports coming in from people on the water this morning. Joppa is heating up!
The beachfront has seen a lot of schoolies in the 18″-24″ range. Our friend Adam Ledger was kind enough to send us a couple of pictures from Sunday:
“Hey Surfland crew!!! I came up this weekend with a co-worker, Adam Vazquez from Fitchburg. It was his first time at Plum Island. He caught 5 Stripers with the biggest being 23”!!! He had a blast!!! Looking forward to heading back up soon!!! Happy Memorial Day!!! “

Not only Joppa, but the Parker River, Plum Island Sound, and all the little ins and outs of that area will see increased activity this week. Eric Roach brought his dad out fishing in the Parker and Jim caught a beautiful striper from the shore inside the river. Congrats Jim! Unfortunately unless you know someone, are a town resident, or have a water vehicle of some sorts it is hard to fish inside these areas, but for those of you that do have access……….go get ’em!!!

***Notice the nice support he has given the fish
.
ENJOY THE DAY!!!
