Joe sent me in these pictures Friday of some fish he caught Thursday night. Joe said that he fished the incoming tide along the oceanfront using live eels. These fish were all in the 30-40lb range. His personal best for the biggest. Congrats Joe! He also went out Friday night and caught another fish in the 25-30lb range. Again on live eels.
Bob Amero sent us this picture from his boat. He was fishing in the mouth of the Merrimac and told us that they were snagging pogies and using them for bait when he hooked into this big striper:
